I don't know how your particular seats are fastened, but my seat bases were screwed to the floor with several screws and the backs of the seat were fastened to the railing with screws from the outside of the railing into the seat backs. If you have enough room between the seat back and the part that is pushed in, you may be able to slip a bicycle inner tube in there and inflate it until the dented panel pops out. Shouldn't take too much to push it out. You might also consider a dent suction cup type puller used to pull dents from car panels. Inexpensive and works well.
Hey dhub:
How about a picture or 2 of the damage.
I like rickdb1's solution above. Show us how much needs to be straightened.
Great advice from both of these guys. One thing I'll add, I have lucked out and popped some pretty big dents out with a wet plunger.
Thanks for the info. It is pretty much exactly like Rick had said. I was able to push out the dents very easy once the back of the seat was removed. Thinking about adding a sheet of styrofoam between the seat and fence to fill the gap so to speak.
Thanks all!
