    Default So, Where have all the old members gone... miss there posting !!!

    Funny , But as time goes we can fully understand how people, and the internet can help with misleading facts VS truths.

    I hope that the info I give is right on, and not a " thought " as other.

    Thanks ,
    Goofy the funtooner!!!

    Hey Malcolm;
    I'm with you on missing some of the oldtimer's chatter. I personally haven't been able to do much to talk about this year as I have just been sitting around waiting for a pretty serious back surgery on 12/18/14 to heal. I t ain't there yet, but it's coming along. The doc says I should be able to pull in the anchor by July. I can't wait to get some time on the water with my new Tap Fins!!! My back problem actually manifested itself on the day that I winterized the boat. 4-5 hours after I finished the boat I was in an emergency room and could not walk. That was 12/15. And the back problem was not an injury, it was caused by metastases to the bone of my prostate cancer. Like your tag line says, "You never know when you're leaving this place". So it's important to at least know "where" you are going when you do leave!
    Can't wait for warmer weather!!!

    I can relate to the back surgery. Mine was done 11 years ago and still hurts. Good luck Danny.

    Hey D2B hope that surgery comes around for you. I'm feelin' lucky, 75 yrs and never had a back pain, but I feel for you. Hopefully when the weather warms up a little we will get some activity on this forum.

    OK,,, This has very little to do with anything. I'm just checking to see if Malcolm is reading the few posts being posted. Question for you Funtooner; When you crossed Lake Michigan, did you pontoon have Tap Fins? Was it even a tri-toon? Just curious.

    So far all is gone. Had a prostate biopsy today so we'll see what gives with that. They've been watching my PSA numbers for a while and the VA here are on their toes.
