    Default NEW RECORD - 114 MPH @ Lake of the Ozarks Shootout

    A new shootout speed record was just set by Brad Rowland in a 25 foot SouthBay Tri-toon. His run captured the top speed for pontoons at 114 MPH. See brief article attached.

    Really, how often would your wife let you run more than 20 mph anyway? So really, "What's the point"?

    Not the best video, but wow... that thing is so close to flying it is not funny. As the bass boat guys say, nothing in the water but half the prop, or props in this case.

    The other high speed boats are sort of ready for the roll over, I wonder if the pontoon guys are? That thing looks like a puff of air would take it up and over.
