...I do have a couple of fish pics from my last trip out to test repairs and and try to salvage my motor. No go on the motor. The starter repair did not correct the noise issue i was hearing, nor did an impeller/seal replacement and the cause became obvious once I finished destroying the lower unit on this last outing back in August. Luckily I only went out as far as the no wake zone because I suspected the would be the final trip for this motor so limping back to the ramp was not a problem. Good news was the old toon's last outing was a good one. She did me proud and got us on two nice fish with her dying breath...

The bad news is that I've had to replace the roof on our house, buy a new fridge, and need to have our breaker panel in the house replaced. That means a new motor will have to wait a few months till finances recover. I'll be back out there fishing again by the end of next summer hopefully.
