WOW - I'm really impressed. As a wood worker myself I admired your wood working skils on the boat but now you have mastered the canvas. I am now motivated to build a front bimini for our Summit Tritoon to add to the 4 bow main Bimini. Where did you get all of the square bows and brackets for the frame work? I have ordered some 1 1/2" u shaped brackets and gotten some square tube for braces instead of our front straps but I don't think I can bend the 90 degree corners necessary for the front frame work. Let me know if you have a good source. Keep up the great work Dan.

    Tony,

I purchased a frame from Restore Pontoon. It was pre-bent and only needed to be assembled. It was originally an eight foot frame. I modified the positions of the supports to make it fit my 6 1/2 foot requirement.

You should be able to bend the tubing that you have. Build a wooden jig with the desired radius, clamp the tubing to the jig while keeping everything flat. You should be able to pull the tubing around the jig to complete the bend.
