Default Cleaning out the cavities... and lost speed...???

What can you do to clean out the cavities inside of a strake???I know you can clean the out side ,but the growth is in the strake as well

I don't know that I'd worry about it. I suppose you could stick the end of a powerwasher nozzle in there and blow it out. I'm guessing you are saying that your fins are easy to clean and these can be troublesome?? I doubt you would lose any speed unless they were chalked full of lead..

    Hey Funtooner,
I'm gonna have to agree with you on this one. I like to stay on top so I clean my toons about twice a year. It's kinda like changing your oil. As the commercial says its "simple physics" a body in motion tends to stay in motion unless it's got crap all over it. LOL

I have, but they still get inside and hide out there.

    Hello Malcolm:

Would you share how you polished the toons? I'm hoping you found a magical process. They look great!
