What can you do to clean out the cavities inside of a strake???I know you can clean the out side ,but the growth is in the strake as well
I don't know that I'd worry about it. I suppose you could stick the end of a powerwasher nozzle in there and blow it out. I'm guessing you are saying that your fins are easy to clean and these can be troublesome?? I doubt you would lose any speed unless they were chalked full of lead..

I'm gonna have to agree with you on this one. I like to stay on top so I clean my toons about twice a year. It's kinda like changing your oil. As the commercial says its "simple physics" a body in motion tends to stay in motion unless it's got crap all over it. LOL

Have you seen what Barnacles can do to the inside of strakes ?? zeba muscles up north ?
I have, but they still get inside and hide out there.
