“The V2075 is perfect for the budget-conscience family who loves to spend all day on the water in comfort and style,” says Clay Connor, the marketing director for Veranda.
“The 2075 has a classy look to it and wants to accommodate everyone’s various needs and wants.”
Each of Veranda’s models offers an attractive combination of curb appeal and value with the different package options available. The three pontoon performance package includes hydraulic steering, lifting strakes, performance motor pod and a stainless prop upgrade. The Sport Package comes with colored panels, sport steering wheel and sport furniture upgrade.
The Relax Deluxe Package is Veranda’s most popular package and comes with two additional Sony speakers, a woodgrain table and a snap-on mooring cover.
Lastly, the Angler package is perfect for the die-hard fishermen. This package comes standard with two fishing seats, trailing motor harness, aerated livewell and a trolling motor half gate. Veranda places high importance on the construction process that goes into these pontoons and that is why these boats are extremely reliable and durable. The all-welded aluminum deck provides a solid, quiet ride and a boat that is built to last a lifetime.
We tested this ‘toon with a Yamaha 70hp outboard, but it does have a maximum horsepower rating of 115hp. As for numbers, at a comfortable cruising RPM of 4500 we flirted with 15 miles per hour using 2.9 gallons per hour, which is pretty good. It has a large fuel tank that holds up to 37 gallons of fuel—which is more than similar models—and a good thing is you don’t have to fill it up as often. There are no horizontal stringers since they are built on an all-aluminum hull. This results in faster top speeds and almost no deck flex. Veranda prides itself in producing a high-quality pontoon. The Arkansas-based manufacturer is known for its exceptional style, comfort and performance.
The intricate key features on the Veranda V 2075 are carefully designed and make this pontoon different amongst its competitors. The 2075 has aluminum patented interlocking floors, which is what Veranda is known for. The patented floors ensure a solid foundation, while providing a quiet ride. Plus, you’ll never have to worry about rotting wood decks.
The full radius seating includes three chaise lounges: one in the rear, and two facing forward for added comfort. With all the seating available it will comfortably fit a large family so everyone can come onboard. The stainless cup holders and cleats for docking adds a nice little touch to make it even that much better, and that much more unique. This 20-foot pontoon has a changing room that is built into the rear chaise lounger. The 9-foot bimini top comes standard with the boat and it’s a feature that consumers love. To top everything off, it has marine grade carpet, deluxe marine-grade vinyl on the swim platform and a rear-entry gate. Something you don’t see everyday is the LED courtesy light on the console as part of the standard features. It also has the basic navigation and anchor lights, deluxe fiberglass console finished with wood grain accents and a full array of gauges with stainless bezels. It also has a speedometer and tachometer gauges, and a standard Sony stereo system including AM/FM/CD with auxiliary jack for your mp3/iPod and two Sony speakers.
“These features ensure a great performing pontoon that will last a lifetime,” adds Clay.
