Aqua Patio

aquapatioboats.com

Brace yourself. What you are about to read is so exciting there's already a waitlist. Aqua Patio has two new models: the Aqua Patio 250 Express and the 240 OB Elite. With these models, Aqua Patio challenged itself to pull out all the stops and design a boat that went beyond everyone's wildest expectations. The 250 Express will make you stop and say...WOW! From the gleaming metallic silver fiberglass forward and rear fenders that reveal comfortable and functional rumble seats, which are forward facing on the forward deck, and rear-facing on the aft deck, to the standard blue LED interior lights and striking optional under deck and swim lights, this boat will have your full attention. The aggressive bright-dipped aluminum wakeboard tower that is available with an optional board rack and tower speakers make this a win for everyone, especially the teenagers of the family.

The 250 Express is a head-turning G Force III triple tube that handles well, looks good and has an outboard rating of up to 300 horsepower. Other standard features include an Aqua Patio-exclusive easy fold-out tower-supported bimini top, lightweight aluminum ski/tow bar, a unique stainless steel front gate, amphitheater sound system with wired stern remote and stunning pearl upholstery.

When it comes to the Aqua Patio 240 OB Elite, you have found a great combination of performance, comfort and innovative features wrapped up in a single package. Even when it's sitting at the dock, this boat turns heads. The stylish rail design with a choice of five different contrasting rail skin insert colors, beautiful soft-touch vinyl, a specially designed ski/tow bar and 27-inch diameter outer tubes are standard features instead of options. With seating for 14 of your favorite people, the 240 Elite really is designed to take the party to the water, which is our favorite place to be. With the push of a button, you can even transform the rear cockpit bench into an expansive rear sun pad that can be further converted into rear-facing sun lounges by propping up the front cushions. Returning the bench cushions back to the upright position with another push of the button creates a rear-facing aft-deck rumble seat that's perfect for gearing up for watersports or keeping an eye on the kids while they're swimming. Key options include a triple-tube performance upgrade with 27-inch diameter center pontoon, Versa Teak flooring and a booming Sony or Fusion Amphitheatre Sound System with Polk Audio speakers.

Avalon

avalonpontoons.com

For 2013, Avalon Pontoons is introducing the new Windjammer pontoon boat. The famously sleek lines and retro looks of Avalon's luxury-class Deco series have been expanded to include an all-new look for its top-end Windjammer.

The new Windjammer has high class style made possible by a design with stunning two-tone walls with external wall skins that are easy to clean and maintain. The new captain designer fiberglass helm stand features a great-looking wood grain dash with automotive style vinyl elements. Now standard is a new Bluetooth stereo.

This new model will also turn heads with a new sporty-looking chrome dock light housing with LED lighting, a full mooring cover and aluminum-framed furniture.

Avalon Pontoons is also introducing the new Catalina pontoon boat. The boat has styling never found before in an affordable mid-range pontoon boat. It is easy to see that it is a relative to the Deco series with its curvaceous walls and sweeping fins. Onlookers might just think that you paid more for the boat than you actually did.

The Catalina features the all-new Ensign designer fiberglass helm stand with a wood grain dash. The dash also features a Bluetooth stereo and a steering wheel with stainless steel spokes.

The 25-foot pontoon also has plush furnishing with Avalon's exclusive matrix 50 vinyl and flow-through ventilated aluminum seat frames.

Bennington

benningtonmarine.com

Bennington is no stranger to innovation. Its pursuit of quality has been the solid foundation for this company from day one. Heading into 2013, it's obvious this Indiana-based manufacturer has no intention of slowing down.

This is another one of those manufacturers who truly has too many new models and exciting changes to list, but we'll give you as many details as space will allow.

One of the most exciting upgrades is the addition of the "Club/Bar" 2550 RCB. It's not an exact merge, but basically Bennington put together its Club Model layout with its Bar Model configuration to create the ultimate setup that is available for all its high-end models. The combination of the two popular floor plans is creating an exciting buzz in the industry. The Club Bar is ideal for those who couldn't decide between the two, giving the buyers the best of both worlds.

Another all-new model is the 2375 GCW. The center-walkthrough design includes "king and queen" identical helm seats with the unique bar design, making it a very functional boat.

Several other new floor plans and features are being introduced across its entire line including the two-toned panel options. Plus the new Sandstone interior color and pillow-top interior options for its S and G Series are being released. In previous years the manufacturer only offered this on its high-end R and Q Series, but is now making it available as an option for its entry-level interiors.

Also, the value line of performance pontoons for any budget is sure to catch a lot of attention. Bennington's S-Series is considered its entry-level line, but with added performance options it's hard to think of it as entry. The center elliptical pontoon was released several years ago on Bennington's high-end performance boats, but now the unique design is showing up in its value-driven models with the Twin Elliptical and Express Tube packages. The builder believes performance is for everyone and adding to this lineup in 2013 is the SPS performance package.

However, the talk at the dock is going to be the new QCW Tower. The RCW tower was introduced last year, but this year it's now being offered on its I/O version. Also, it comes painted to match the panel color this year with an option to have the tower unpainted like it was originally.

Berkshire Pontoons

berkshirepontoon.com

The Berkshire 253 SLX is a brand new 25-foot model that includes rear-facing seats in the stern as well as dual helm chairs for the captain and first-mate that recline and swivel. The manufacturer recently partnered up with Lexington Corporation (www.lexingtonproducts.com), a seating company who has been in business for over 20 years and is known for its high-end products. Unique patterns and designs like the durable weave that has been added to the vinyl seating is just one example of how Lexington is improving the interior of the Berkshire pontoons. Even on its entry-level models, the soft-touch vinyl is included as part of its standard features. Berkshire refers to its entry models as full-featured pontoons that now include other standards like teak-looking vinyl flooring in the stern and other popular features.

Berkshire Pontoons are manufactured by Forest River Marine who also builds the South Bay and Xcursion line of pontoons. Upgrades that can be found in all three lines include the all-new RFE layout. The "E" or entertainer layout was released last year that is loaded with great amenities. For 2013, a smaller version that now includes rear facing seats at a lower price point will now give consumers another choice when it comes to entertaining onboard.

And like the South Bay model, a new hard top fiberglass option has been added to its Sport line to compliment the standard arch that was released last year. An all-new sporty helm console with a touch-screen dash has also been added to its top-of-the-line Sport model.

Cypress Cay

cypresscaypontoons.com

The Cypress Cay 2013 pontoon lineup consists of four different lines, including the new Cayman Limited and the completely redesigned Cabana. A five-year warranty and 16-inch on-center cross members on all 2013 models means piece of mind during any on-water pursuit.

For 2013, the Cayman received a more elaborate fence design making it truly Cypress Cay's flagship model. The Limited Package adds to the Cayman an upscale bronze anodized fence, rubrail, and bimini to match the leather-like vinyl upholstery. With standard options like a five-step ladder, Sony Bluetooth stereo and 12-foot bimini, the Cayman has something for every lifestyle.

Along with a new sloping fence design, the 2013 Cozumel now includes new wood burl accents to the helm for an upscale look. A rear swim deck with vinyl flooring is standard, which allows easy access and maneuverability at the aft making the Cozumel the ideal combination of cruising comfort and water agility.

The Cabana includes upgrades as well like the new fence design featuring optional graphics and a new interior design. The number of floor plans the Cabana is offered in was increased as well. From fish and cruise floor plans to a dual lounger floor plan, the Cabana has something to offer everyone.

The 180 Seabreeze joins the lineup for 2013 expanding the already successful line. As with the rest of the Cypress Cay models, it has been given a distinctive fence design and for 2013 the Seabreeze's fence panels have been raised from 18- to 24-inches for added safety.

MirroCraft

mirrocraft.com

It was a great day when Northport Marine, the Gillett, Wis., manufacturer of MirroCraft boats, announced they were entering the pontoon market. Nothing gets us as excited as hearing about a new pontoon being released. The new Montego Bay line was unveiled at the company's September dealer meeting.

Montego Bay pontoons will be a great addition to the company's existing aluminum boat line, as the manufacturer plans to target the entry-level, price-conscious buyer.

All models are eight and a half feet wide and will be available in 23- and 25-foot lengths. They will feature all-aluminum transoms with 3/4-inch marine grade plywood decking, which will be bolted to C-channels. The three-inch C-channels on 24-inch spacing will have closed cell tape to reduce noise. The helm and fishing chair bases will be bolted, not screwed, and have Rotocast seat bases. MirroCraft will use sculpted 22-ounce carpet and 32-ounce vinyl seating.

All skirting is foam taped to reduce noise and corrugated for strength. Put all of this with the quick-release bimini top and all corrosion-resistant hardware and you have a boat that is ready for the water.

Manitou

manitouboats.com

For the upcoming model year Manitou is releasing the Oasis SE floor plan with a twin tube hull. This popular floor plan in the past was only offered with a VP or SHP hull design. The Oasis helm is brand new for 2013 and features silver-backed gauges carefully placed on a flat black background. An AM/FM Jensen radio is tucked under the helm and operated through a hard wired remote that is mounted to the outside of the helm so that it is easily operated by the driver. Light-up toggle switches and a perfectly placed binnacle round out the new fiberglass helm. The Teleflex Extreme Steering will be standard on all twin tube Manitou models for 2013.

A new generation steering cable is matched with Teleflex Marine's new Xtreme Steering Helm, featuring a high-efficiency, custom gear train and an improved No Feedback (NFB) clutch that will minimize the affects of engine torque. A newly-designed 24-gallon fuel tank is mounted inside the fresh transom, centering its weight on the boat. The transom is designed to optimize water flow and provide a smoother, faster ride. Two new color choices are also available: carbon metallic and bronze.

Misty Harbor

mistyharborboats.com

Misty Harbor is proud to introduce Skye, the newest addition to its very popular line of pontoons. When you're in the Skye, everything looks different as compared to its predecessors. Skye is vested with plush furniture, a new lavish carpet design, a helm that makes you feel like you're in a cockpit, and a sound system that pumps out sweet tunes with crystal-clear acoustics. The exterior of the craft features a newly-designed rail that is available in a combination of two-tone or monotone configurations, teak vinyl on the aft deck, and, when fitted with a third pontoon, a beefed-up performance package that launches the craft with comfort and momentum to pull skiers and wakeboarders alike. Skye is available in three configurations: a rear-facing lounge set that allows luxurious comfort to enjoy vistas of sky and water from the stern of the craft; a U-shaped seating arrangement that is ideal for entertaining guests in hot-tub-like configurations; and a galley unit for those who want to keep things tidy as they enjoy the pleasure of Skye, on the water. Standard features on all three models are outrageously generous, and option packages can add tons of style to the Skye; such as LED-lit cup-holders and under-deck lighting, an upgraded Kicker sound system with lit speakers throughout, in-deck ski storage when fitted with a third pontoon, and snap-in carpet for those who prefer full vinyl decks. Simply put, there is no limit to the enjoyment and pleasure one can find in Misty Harbor's Skye.

As we've all felt the pinch of the great recession to some degree or another, Misty Harbor is offering relief to consumers with their Adventure series pontoons. These boats are not only economically packaged, they are comparatively fit with goodies that give customers peace of mind knowing they bought a great boat at an awesome price.

NauticStar

nauticstar.com

NauticStar, LLC introduces its all-new innovative design 223DC Sport Deck for 2013.

Following the same design strategy as the 203SC that was introduced last year, the 223DC merges deck boat-style spacious interior with the ride and drive of a V hull runabout.

Boarding onto the 223DC is easy with the stainless steel ladder and walk-through transom. The rear entry seat flips up out of the way so you don't step on the upholstery. There is also storage under the rear entry seat for your battery and other gear. The interior in the cockpit forms a U-shape area beginning with a unique chaise seat with removable backrest.

You will be more comfortable cruising late in the season with the full wrap-around, walk-through panoramic view windshield. The bow walk through also has folding doors to keep the wind out of the cockpit.

Palm Beach

palmbeachpontoons.com

After making its comeback into the market in 2012, Palm Beach pontoons have been fully redesigned, retooled and reconfigured from the ground up for `13. All of the boat models were designed with many options often found only in the luxury pontoon market. Better yet, these features have remained competitive. This brand has a lot to offer consumers in 2013.

Palm Beach models have a new Mystic White vinyl and prefix topcoat, giving the boats a contemporary look and feel. The color pops very nice off of the white vinyl with rail colors that accent the look. A new Elite helm chair, deluxe mobile armrest design and new furniture designs complete the look for Palm Beach.

Added feature additions include a new B/L bar and water slide layouts. The features are often found on only high-priced luxury pontoons, but Palm Beach decided to make them available to all buyers with a new design that can be incorporated into many models. These layouts, along with a new Bullet Performance Center tube, change the game for Palm Beach this year. The Bullet triple tube incorporates a 48-gallon fuel tank, includes hydraulic steering, and has a large in-floor ski storage locker. All are great options for a pontoon that competes well on price.

Some of the smaller yet still significant features include fuel tanks built into the transom, a new chrome captain's wheel, EZ access hinges on all seat bases, color matched playpen covers and new 7-foot wide models for international sales.

PlayCraft

playcraftboats.com

Known for its performance, PlayCraft once again brings its best to the table. New for 2013 are the PowerToon Prestige 2700RFL and the Sport 2800RFL. When it comes to the PowerToon Prestige, you'll be riding in comfort with the reclining captain's seat and wet bar with stainless steel sink and faucets. Proving they value family time, the Missouri-based manufacturer has added an extra step on the rear entry ladder and implemented a ski/tow bar. But after the kids go to bed, you can make use of the recessed 12-volt margarita machine and mood lighting with LED lighted speakers.

For the Sport 2800 you'll find an extended deck and transom comes standard. The triple-toon package and power assist steering makes it a win for people who value stability. Plus take advantage of the 50-gallon in `toon fuel tank to spend the whole day out on the water. As usual, PlayCraft has outdone itself when it comes to creating a new product that's worth your investment.

Premier

pontoons.com

The new model year brings another incredible year for Premier Pontoons. All models were redesigned with new vinyl accent colors, new helms and redesigned layouts. It has become normal practice for Premier to be innovative and the company continues to raise the bar on product innovation.

Major model changes include a new Grand View model that was designed around the layout of a day cruiser. The Grand View has an elevated platform and seating section similar to the concept of raised stadium seating. This layout gives the driver a bird's-eye view of his passengers and the environment that surrounds the boat. We have already experienced this boat, and trust us when we say it rocks. The aft of the boat includes a step down section with an extended swim platform that falls into the water like an infinity pool. The style of the rear rivals the front of the boat and is very functional.

Besides its new model, Premier is adding innovative features to its existing models. For example, standard features for its luxury series include the Beacon touch screen dash system that adds a full color touch screen, easy-to-use controls for the driver, an interactive GPS, and an optional rear camera for spotting watersports. Other features include the new Flexsteel helm chairs with self-leveling arms, which will be standard on all models.

Due to the success of the Grand Entertainer, Premier also redesigned and developed some smaller bar options that will fit most Premier 2013 models. The new Bombay mini-bar is designed like the bar found on the Entertainer but it's a smaller version that is a practical alternative to the grand version. Another new popular and smaller bar option is the Wine Waiter. This smaller scale bar hydraulically moves up and down to reveal wine glass and bottle storage. The Wine Waiter is standard on the Intrigue and optional on other Premier models.

Not leaving out the entry-level buyer, Premier redesigned its Leisure models with new layouts and aggressive pricing. If you are looking for a Premier quality product at an entry-level price, the Leisure SunSpree or Leisure Navigator may be a package for you to consider.

Also brand new to the lineup is the 2210 OB for the coastal markets. The coastal package includes stainless steel rub rail, pressurized water system with hand held sprayer and transom shower and a ski/tow bar.

Sun Tracker's Bass Buggy pontoon boats have long been a popular choice for anglers who want to fish in comfort and enjoy family outings on the water as well. New for 2013 is the Bass Buggy 16, a slightly smaller, more agile addition to the Bass Buggy lineup.

The 16-foot craft with two-tone exterior fencing rides on two 24-inch diameter, multi-chambered pontoons fashioned from .080 marine alloy aluminum to provide a safe ride for everyone aboard.

The molded, pilot-friendly console has an integrated livewell and a full-width aft couch, which doubles as the helm seat. The couch is upholstered in high-density Sun Tracker material that resists damage from sun and water for many seasons of use.

Two bow-mounted, fold-down fishing chairs, also upholstered in weather-resistant fabric, allow anglers to fish in luxurious comfort. They're mounted in heavy-duty aluminum seat bases and can be removed if a different configuration is needed.

There's a side-mounted boarding ladder that allows swimmers to climb back aboard safely and easily, and there is also a base for an optional table.

The Party Barge 254 XP3 is the other new model being released for 2013 from Sun Tracker. At over 27 feet in length with a maximum horsepower rating of 250, there is plenty of room for you and 14 of your closest friends.

It's the elevated fiberglass helm station that first catches your eye, but its other standard amenities like the Lowrance color fish finder with chartplotter and the tilt power assisted hydraulic steering that the captain will appreciate the most.

Three .100-guage pontoons are the base of this boat with performance strakes on all the logs, plus factory installed underpinning. The all-new aft refreshment center includes an on demand fresh water, sink, paper towel holder, food prep area, courtesy light as well as storage. Reclining captains seat with self-leveling arms, lockable couches throughout and an 11-foot bimini top with integrated LED lighting help round out the key features. But don't forget about the oversized aft facing lounge with an extra-large changing room below, that's sure to be the most popular seat onboard. Sun Tracker delivers once again by offering a great high-end model to compliment its already attractive lineup.

Tahoe Pontoons

tahoepontoons.com

Tahoe Pontoons has two new exciting models for 2013. The first is the Cascade pontoon boat that includes styling you often don't see with mid-range pontoon boats. The new model uses styling cues that make it obvious that it is a relative to its award-winning Deco line. Curvaceous walls and sweeping fins betray the fact that this boat does not cost as much as onlookers might expect.

Tahoe also gave the 25-foot pontoon plush furnishing with flow-through ventilated aluminum seat frames and its exclusive matrix 50 vinyl.

An Ensign designer fiberglass helm stand is all-new on the Cascade and has a wood grain dash. A bluetooth stereo is included and also new is a steering wheel with stainless steel spokes.

The other new model is the Vista pontoon boat. Tahoe borrowed the famously sleek lines and retro looks of the Tahoe's luxury class deco series to create the new-for-2013 top-end Vista.

The exterior of the boat is stunning with two-tone walls with clean-looking exterior wall skins. This gives the Vista high-class style that is beautiful and easy to clean and maintain.

The interior of the boat has been given a new captain designer fiberglass helm stand. It has a great-looking wood grain dash with automotive-style vinyl elements. A bluetooth stereo is now included as standard.

The Vista promises to draw the attention of other boaters with its new chrome dock LED-light housings, full mooring cover and aluminum-framed furniture.

Veranda

verandamarine.com

Veranda Marine has a new model for 2013 that was designed for the boater with discriminating standards seeking a great boat. Onboard the 2013 Vertex Series pontoon you will find a full-composite teak deck with premium seating that embraces the boater in warmth and comfort. To create a rich glow during evening cruises, the Vertex series features lighted cup holders and stainless steel back-lit speaker grills.

To get the sound to those speakers, the boat has a powerful Sony stereo system that is complete with Bluetooth and wireless remotes at both the helm and swim platform.

What really helps the Vertex series stand apart from other boats is the new Garmin 720s GPS Dash Panel with full Yamaha integration. This unit replaces the rows of gauges and dials on your boats' console with a "glass" display that features your location, speed, fuel and tech.

This setup is mounted in a great looking color coordinated vinyl-wrapped dash with push-button switches and engraved back-lit panels. The unit provides easy-to- read information in all light conditions.

Veranda did not forget the exterior on the new Vertex Series, designing one that is just as impressive as the interior and will definitely turn heads. The pontoon is available in 22- and 25-foot lengths and has exterior railing with stainless steel mesh accents and a stainless steel mesh bow gate.

The swim deck is made from composite teak as well and has an easily accessible swim ladder. An electric 10-foot canvas bimini top provides shade and protects from a sudden downpour. The boat also eliminates the need to worry about rotting with Veranda's patented all-aluminum interlocking floors. This boat proves to give a quiet ride and a lifetime of enjoyment.

Voyager

The Crown Classic 22 Cruise is Voyager Marine's new boat for the 2013 model year. This ready-to-go boat features a rear double sun lounge and a full Cruise furniture package with an updated railing design.

Weeres redesigned its model lineup, making most models standard with an 8-foot, 6-inch beam. The new boat models have new floor plans and are available in both Pearl Grey and Mystic White vinyl. New helms consoles and bimini tops were again implemented across the line. The tops are accented by color matched playpen covers and new carpet colors.

Xcursion

xcursionpontoon.com

Forest River Marine created the Xcursion line of pontoons last year to compliment its South Bay and Berkshire lines of pontoon boats. Even though this line is only a year old, exciting upgrades have been made for the new model year.

Creating a partnership with the high-end furniture manufacturer Lexington Corporation has helped add style to all the Forest River lines of pontoons. Plus the RFE (Rear Facing Entertainer) has been created to give consumer a smaller version of the popular Entertainer floor plan. More seating is now available on the RFE version, while only giving up higher-end amenities like the grill, stainless drawers and a refrigerator. Having both floor plans available will give consumers more options, but the decision between the two won't be an easy one to make.

Look for more exciting changes from this Xcursion line in the future as it continues to evolve.
