Barletta To Offer Holiday Hotline

May 2019 Feature

Barletta Pontoon Boats, located in Bristol, Ind., is once again making waves in the marine industry. This time by offering a Barletta Pontoon Boat Customer Service Hotline for any of their owners who might run into issues this Memorial Day weekend.

As many know, this weekend is the unofficial start to the summer, and with weather delaying the boating season in may regions of the country, it could be the first, huge weekend on the water for many boaters. There is nothing more frustrating, after waiting months for the boating season to arrive, then to run into issues while out on the water with family and friends, or worse yet, not be able to get onto the water at all. Barletta is hoping to help alleviate some of those frustrations by offering a manned “hotline” that customers can call for assistance.

“This weekend is such a huge event for boaters all across the country, and it seems that the weather is finally gong to cooperate, so we wanted to try something new,” stated Bill Fenech, President & Co-Owner of Barletta Pontoon Boats. “As a long-time boater, there have been times when I’ve been out on the boat with family or friends and stuff happens. You can’t remember how to hookup the bluetooth to the stereo, or you can’t get your navigation lights to come on, or the engine is having issues. It’s frustrating and sometimes even embarassing. We hope that this service will be a way to potentially resolve any issues you might run into that are keeping you from enjoying your time on your Barletta.”

Customers will be able to reach the Barletta Customer Service Hotline between the hours of 6:00pm and 10:00 pm (EST) on Friday, May 24, and then from 8:00am to 10:00pm (EST) from Saturday, May 25, through Monday, May 27. The hotline will be manned by current Barletta employees who are knowledgeable and technically experienced. The phone number will be on the Barletta website and social media sites starting on Friday, May 24.

Barletta’s White-Glove PDI (pre-delivery inspection) process, has greatly limited some of the typical aesthetic and functional issues that have plagued many in the industry. With over five pages, and 400+ individual line items that are inspected, Barletta feels, and the dealers have agreed, that Barletta boats are the “cleanest” boats delivered to their dealerships and are in showroom ready condition.

“We’ve partnered with, hands-down, the BEST dealer network in the industry,” continued Fenech. “I’m sure they are staffed up and ready to handle just about anything that is thrown at them this weekend. Because of that, if any of our owners do run into issues, they should contact their dealers first. That’s a big part of the process when buying a pontoon boat - you’re “buying” the dealer and their services. Buying “local” - where you boat - is so important in the boating industry. We are proud to be supported by the years of dealer expertise and excellence in our network.”

“But, if something comes up and you’re looking for a hand, give our hotline a call. We’ll do everything we can in our power to keep you on the water.”
